Vegan Art

After a long gap, posting this on this ‘World Earth day’, this one is painting done using vegetarian colour from this spinach and it’s fruit. The fruit from this plant has a pink colour juice, when we crush it in hand we’ll get pink colour like a ink. For the green the leaves has been used. I had this spinach creeper in our backyard, it’s very common in south Indian homes. It’s good for people having excessive heat in body. This spinach leaf is round in shape, one can cook bajji (one of the South Indian snack) out of it. This spinach is called ‘Pasalai Keerai’ in Tamil.

Drawing by insect !

This is interesting and very rare to see, recently I was checking the pappaya on the same tree and got amazed by this white insect which has some kind of white powder on it. This is very common insect you might find it in any plants in a shade or cold climate. when this powder falls on our skin, it starts itching. I think it's self protection like the kind other creatures have. First day I saw some track marks surrounding the insect and on third day, it looked like somebody drawn heart on the pappaya, it is unexplainable see it for yourself...!

My pappaya tree at home !

As usual, early morning, I look at plants in a small space/pathway leading to toilet, One day, I saw a bright fresh green leaves (I call it green babies) of the pappaya tree, the tree is so, small that I can touch the pappayas. The green leaves were exciting to see it in the background of soft morning sun light, immediately I took my camera phone to take this shot. It's a delight to my eyes so, I thought of sharing it with others too.

My Green experience !

This fresh looking beauty got captured in my mobile camera when, I was waiting for auto rikshaw after the rain stoped pouring on that beautiful evening. I loved this great graphic design by the mother nature. I think one has to become a child again to enjoy this kind of many natural eye catchies.
